In light of my busy lifestyle, (working two jobs and finishing my degree - ahh!) I have come up with this great new blog photo taking technique called awkwardly asking my co-workers for help. It's not really awkward! My co-workers are lovely people and support my esoteric hobby.
This bowler/porkpie chimera hat has been my go-to recently! Not only do I love it, but with the bit of the brim turned up, the wind is less likely to knock it off my head and into traffic. I discovered this beautiful 1940's art deco blouse in a vintage store downtown - I can't get over the print! It has a lovely wide collar, too. Interestingly, rather than having the zipper at the neck like most modern tops, this piece has the zipper at the side. Which involves sucking in my chest and doing a lot of shimmying to get into it... whilst being terrified of tearing a 70+ year old garment.

This colourful sweater is so much fun! i love it with that skirt and that jacket balances everything out perfectly.

That vintage blouse is just absolutely amazing! I love the pretty colors in it and the print. The wide collar is fantastic too. I really like how the colors work together in this outfit. Your coat is classic and pretty and your skirt perfectly plays off the colors in your blouse. Love this!
